Mr. Edgar Manasseh
—Non-Executive Chairman
Mr. Manasseh has extensive knowledge in taxation, having worked on tax-related matters in Kenya, Malawi, Gambia, and Uganda, among others. He has held positions in various corporations and in the government. He is former Chairman, National Social Security Fund (NSSF); Chairman, Equatorial Commercial Bank; Director, Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA); Director, National Bank of Kenya; Senior Tax Advisor, IMF Gambia Revenue Authority; Commissioner General (CEO), Kenya Revenue Authority; Financial Secretary, Treasury – Ministry of Finance; Commissioner of Income Tax, Kenya.

Dr. Tsofa Mweni
Executive Director
Dr. Mweni is responsible for business systems, product development, IT strategy, and corporate policy. He spearheads the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plans, oversees the direction of the business and provides leadership to the senior management. Dr. Mweni holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Egerton University, Global MBA from United States International University, Nairobi, and Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the United States International University (USIU-Africa).

Rainer Michael Preiss
—Non Executive Director
Rainer Michael Preiss is a German national and an investment advisor based in Singapore. He has
over 25 years of experience in global private banking and multi-family office business across Europe,
Middle East, Africa and Asia. Michael is a frequent contributor to international business media such
as Bloomberg, CNBC as well as a columnist for Forbes Magazine.
Michael was educated in Germany and in Switzerland. In 1989, he spent a year living in Japan as an
AFS American field service foreign exchange student living with a Japanese host family and attending
a local Japanese High School. He speaks fluent Japanese.
Michael is a graduate e of the European Business school, having studied at the centres in London,
Paris and Bologna. In addition, Michael studied intensive Mandarin Chinese at Beijing Language and
Culture University (BLCU), as well as Yonsei University Korean Language Program in Seoul, South
Korea.

Mr. Oscar C. Ngoto
— Managing Director
Mr. Ngoto is a microfinance professional. He has vast experience across business incubation, corporate governance and strategic development, spanning over a period of more than 14 years. He is one of the founders of Fadhili Micro Enterprises Ltd. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Previously, served in a senior management position at KWFT-DTM.

Mr. Ali Husseini
— Non-Executive Director
Mr. Husseini has more than 15 years of industry experience and is a pioneer in digital innovations in developing countries. Mr. Husseini has extensive expertise in management, project management, digital marketing, and fund management. Currently, Mr. Husseini is a partner at East Africa, Xterra Capital Advisors. He is also co-founder and CEO of CampusCiti Limited. Previously, he was CEO of Wunderman East Africa and of 3MiceInteractive Media East Africa.

Mr. Rodgers M. Egesa
- Head of Finance
Rodgers has over 10 years’ experience in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Account Reconciliation, Auditing, Internal Control matters, Taxation issues, financial analysis, Accounting and Accounts Payables. Mr. Egesa holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Moi University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA K) from KCA University. He has also undergone various training on Human Resource, Labor Laws, Tax & Financial Considerations and Tax Compliance Planning by Hammond Tutu & Gunther (K) Ltd (Financial Management Consultancy and Training firm).

Mrs. Maureen Mabonga
Head of Accounts and Administration
Maureen joined Fadhili in 2013 and oversees the company’s overall finance and accounting functions. She is responsible for preparation of operational reports and management accounts, reviewing and approves disbursements, follow up on budget implementations and limits as it relates to each branch and department. Maureen has CPS qualification and has exceptional knowledge in the QuickBooks accounting system. She has additional qualifications having undertaken professional courses in micro finance group lending, human resource planning and management and operations planning.

Ms. Prisca Kemei
Head of Credit
Prisca is the group’s head of credit and the manager for Mombasa Branch and head office operations. She oversees the credit control functions, loan appraisal and approval processes for the branch. Kemei presides over the Branch Credit Committee meetings and execution of credit approvals. She has a bachelor’s degree incccc Business Management (Purchasing Major) from Moi University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Kenyatta University.

Mrs. Rehema Nzai
Head of Operations
Rehema is responsible for branch office activities, including loans disbursement, loan volume, new clients and monitors the portfolio risk. In addition,
she provides training to staff with a focus on operations and policies. Mrs. Nzai has a bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of commence in finance option from Kenyatta University and has various professional qualifications in micro finance group lending, accounts for non-accountant managers, human resource planning and management and operations planning.
